A Place of Our Own begins with a threat to the home. A home that should be peaceful and safe turns into an uneasy and dangerous space due to a man knocking at the door with a loud voice. Their journey to find a new home becomes a process of facing prevalent discrimination and hatred against minorities. Why is it so difficult to find a safe space and our place?
